Post your project on Gadget Gangster and you can win! We've got $2,000 in one-of-a-kind prizes to give away to the best designers, just post your project by December 31st, 2009 to qualify. DEADLINE EXTENDED - post your entry by March 31st, 2010.
What do you need to post a project?
1. A step-by-step howto guide, showing how to build your project. You can submit your howto in MS Word, OpenOffice, or post it on Instructables.com.
2. Sourcecode so the judges can understand how your project works. Your sourcecode doesn't need to be published with your project, but our judges need to review it.
3. A few photos of your project, electronics and project in use.
Remember, in order to publish your project on Gadget Gangster, you're limited to the components in our inventory. You can use our project boards or submit your own custom PCB design (posting options) Parallax has generously provided prizes for the competition, but projects do NOT need to use Parallax microcontrollers to be eligible.
PRIZES
We have 3 one-of-a-kind prizes to the winners of our competition. The 1st place winner can chose any 1 of the prizes, the 2nd place winner can chose among the 2 remaining prizes, and the 3rd place winner gets the remaining prize. The prizes are:

Projects will be scored on the following criteria:
30% Coolness Projects that do something technically interesting or practically interesting
30% Appeal Projects that interest a large audience or are a 'must-have' for a smaller audience
20% Design Appropriateness Is your project designed to be inexpensive, reliable, and easy to build?
20% Howto Guide The quality of the Howto guide with your project
Highest scores win! All projects posted on Gadget Gangster from now until 11:59pm PST, March 31st, 2010 will automatically be entered.
