Mr PeanutPeanuts are chewy and satisfying, but do they always hit the spot?

I've been 'around the block' with every snack in the vending machine, so I consider myself to be an experienced eater.  Today, I'm reviewing one of my all-time favorites, salted peanuts.

Salted Peanuts

For the price, peanuts are nearly unbeatable.  For 65¢, you get 330 Calories.  At 5.0 Calories / ¢, that's a much better value than Starburst (just 3.5 Cal / ¢) or Snickers (also 3.5 Cal / ¢).  Also, peanuts are high in fat, so they make you feel more full.  Starburst and Snickers make me tired after eating them, but peanuts never let me down.

Complaints — If you have nut alergies, peanuts are probably not for you.  Also, they don't satisfy the sweet craving.  Trail mix does a better job of that, although it's not as good a value.  Peanuts also give you peanut breath and can make your mouth feel dry.

Nice Stuff — You can save half a bag for the next day.  The value is unbeatable, and it doesn't make you feel sleepy afterwards, like other snacks.  Peanuts can also be eaten very quickly, and don't have any excess packaging.  No one will mooch your peanuts, either.

VERDICT
Peanuts offer a great value, but only if you don't have to buy a drink to wash it down.  If you need to buy a drink, there are probably better, drink-free options available.

Great If: You don't care what your lunch tastes like, and you aren't alergic to peanuts.
