Starlino (designer of the Accel_Gyro) has put together a comprehensive guide to combining Accelerometer and Gyroscope data to work as an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). It also covers more basic concepts like 'What does an accelerometer measure?'. It's a great guide if you're thinking of using an accelerometer or gyroscope in your project, and it applies to the Accel_Gyro as well as other IMU units.
