That is a USB to USB copier used for duplicating flash drives or hard disks. People also call it a pendrive copier and many more things. This is basically a 1 to 1 duplicator and so it may not require a user interface. There are 1 to n duplicators available too with/without user interfaces.

It will be hard to guess without knowing what the connectors are. And there may be other hidden gems on the other side of the board that could make it a whole lot more interesting (ie. attachment to a BlueSmurf/SD card socket, etc).

Okay - I am guessing again. It's a USB port extender using the power of the usb to re-condition the connection through the quad amp somehow. It's powered by the USB, and the pic chip only has 25 bytes of ram on it, so i't cant be a data-logger. Some type of 'media filter'. |
