11_20_invNew components!

Recently, we added Surface Mount components to our inventory.  We've also added:

RS485 Transeiver (datasheet)
This little 8 Pin DIP supports transmit and receive for RS485 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RS485, the standard for industrial automation, Vehicle Bus, building automation and a bunch of other things.  It also supports RS-422.

XLR3 Male (datasheet) and Female (datasheet)
XLR3 is used for DMX and are the standard for balanced audio.  It's a robust cable that can be used in plenty of other ways, too.

9 Pin DIP Switch (datasheet)
Used in the DMX IO, this 9 Pin DIP Switch has standard 300 mil spacing.

12 Mhz Xtal (datasheet)
It's like a crystal, but faster!  This is the 'half-height' variety, so it's not too tall

PIC18 (PIC18F14K50) (datasheet)
I'm not a PIC expert, but you can check out the datasheet.  Built-in USB 2.0 and a built-in Voltage Regulator is pretty cool, though!

USB Cable
This cable is bare wire on one end and a type A plug on the other end.  The type A plug will plug in to 99% of computers.

5 Way D-pad (datasheet)
Used on the LCD UI module, this little guy has 4 directions and a 5th 'depress' switch.  Expensive, but pretty cool.

20k ohm Right angle Pot
This is another Alps potentiometer, 20k ohms and the shaft is at a right angle so it can hang off the side of a pcb.  No datasheet, but it's a flat pot with 3x .1" spaced pins, and the middle pin is connected to the wiper.

D-shaft knob (datasheet)
A rubberized knob that fits on our Alps potentiometers.  It also has a center marking.

TIP125 (datasheet)
This is the PNP version of the TIP120.  A power transistor in a big (TO-220) package, it's capable of switching up to 5 Amps.

LDO Regulator (TO-92) (datasheet)
This is a Microchip 3.3v LDO regulator in a small TO-92 package.  Fairly inexpensive and it's good for about 25mA

Obsolete Parts

Published projects that use these components are fine (as long as we can still source the component), but they won't be available for new designs;

PICaxe
We're simplyfing our PICaxe inventory to 3 parts: 08M, 28X2, and 40X2.  We're removing the 20M, 18M and 18X.

SD Card Slot, Adapter
We're going to offer new parts in the next week or so that will make these components obsolete.

Other Parts
PIC24, Board Spacers - 1" (4 Pack) and 3x4 Matrix Keypad.  These haven't been used for any projects, but if your project requires one, just let us know.
